How to combat with pests like ants and mice

The two most common pests that trouble home owners are ants and mice. There two pests are responsible for so much of the pest control calls companies have to render service. It is not a fun thing to wake up one morning and then find a bunch of troublesome ants all over your kitchen.Or another worse feeling is to wake up and then find dirty mice droppings all over your kitchen floor.

As mentioned these two pests are the bulk of my service calls in my San Diego pest control business.  Thankfully it doesn’t all happen at once.It seems like the ants calls happen during summer time since it is when the ants are gathering food. While the bulk of the mice or rodent calls are happening in the winter.

Well with ants there are few things that you can actually do.  First of all you have to keep your home clean.  What I mean is you have to make sure you don’t leave any food lying around.  If you are able to eliminate their food they won’t come around. Of course that is easier said then done.  The main way to get rid of them with my ant control San Diego service is to kill the ant hill. That is definitely where the queen ant is and you need to destroy those ants.

The next pest are rodents or mice. This is another troublesome pest that most people definitely hate to find in their house.  There is no worse feeling then finding out that mice have been running around.  There are two things that you can do to get rid of them that we do in our San Diego mouse control service. The very first is to set up traps for mouse. The next good thing you can do is to set up poison. If you do these two things then definitely you should be able to get rid of them.

As you can realize it is very possible to get rid of them it is just going to take work.

Welcome back!
